The Adult Education Development Committee was formed to develop a comprehensive adult religious education program within Our Lady of Joy Parish as well as to promote the use of available adult religious educational opportunities at other parishes within the diocese. By the end of our current three year planning cycle, parishioners of Our Lady of Joy will have access to a variety of contemporary and topical educational programs that will lead to an increased participation in adult religious education.

The goals of the Adult Education Development Committee will be achieved through the development of a comprehensive offering of in-parish lectures and courses on a variety of topics, the timely and frequent promotion of programs held at other local parishes, the creation of a library of books, video cassettes, and audio cassettes for use in individual study.

Any parishioner interested in providing input or suggestions to the Adult Education Development Committee or in actively participating in committee activities should contact the Adult Education Development ministry.
